Did you know that when you are speaking to another person, you are creating a visual image? What is the visual image that you are creating? Is it a positive image, does that person leave remembering you as a fun, loving person or do they leave thinking you are a Debbie Downer?
We are in a constant state of telepathic distribution. The words that we speak, the tone of our conversation and the posturing that we have, will create a mental picture of us that is sent out to others. This is a task that every one of us needs to work on. Because of the law of attraction, if we are creating a negative impression, we become that magnet for other negative impressions. This is how we get in a never ending circle of frustration. Creating a negative picture of yourself also affects if others want to be around you. Do you find others make an excuse to cut their conversation off short? If so, examine your words in that conversation.
I’ve recently come to the conclusion, that I have this area to work on with certain people. I found that certain people that I came in contact with would unexplainably prompt me to create a negative picture of myself. I asked myself, why did I do this with only one group of people? The answer was given to me as this;
At one time in my life, I had experienced great loss, many family deaths in one year. These deaths created much stress in my immediate family, many sicknesses appeared and a general emotion of doom. My husband has multiple health issues, my daughter presented with Type 1 Diabetes, I had multiple surgeries. Thus, the people around me at that time was concerned and from that day forward would inquire about my family when we would meet in a public place. This is what I didn’t realize. They have that negative image stored and would broadcast that image to me as they began to speak. Thus, even if I had been in the most uplifting positive mood, I would immediately begin thinking of the health issues our family would be experiencing and relay that back to them in response to their well meaning inquiries. Now I know that when in this situation, I should stop, take a breath, immediately think of myself and family as a happy, healthy picture and then respond with the statement that we are all doing great!
Remember, as I said in an earlier article. Our subconscious does not know that difference between pretend and reality. By broadcasting a healthy, happy picture, our subconscious will dissolve the negative energy and start releasing the happy endorphins, we begin to attract the positive energies from the universe and the cycle breaks.
Eliminate the negative statements in your life, even if you are going through the toughest time of your existence, be thankful and only concentrate on your blessings. Isn’t this what we were taught when we were small tots, count our blessings? Counting our blessings is the first step in attracting abundance of love and life!
